Donation Terms and Policy
Effective Date: 05/02/2025
The Safa Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Afghan Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) applicants and their families. We value your generosity and are committed to transparency in how your contributions are received and used. This Donation Policy outlines the terms and conditions that apply when you donate to us.
We currently accept donations through the following methods:
- Zelle
- Venmo
- Bank Transfer
- Check
- Money Order
If you have questions about these methods or require payment details, please contact us at kaitlyn@thesafanetwork.org.
All donations made to The Safa Network are considered final and non-refundable. If an error was made in your donation or you have questions, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction.
Donations are used exclusively for charitable purposes in support of our mission and ongoing programs, including—but not limited to—relocation assistance, emergency response, case support, and advocacy. The Safa Network reserves the right to allocate funds where they are most needed, unless a donation is explicitly restricted by the donor.
The Safa Network is not currently a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, donations are not tax-deductible at this time. We are actively pursuing 501(c)(3) status, and if approved, we will notify donors of the effective date of exemption. However, we cannot guarantee that any donations made prior to IRS approval will be retroactively tax-deductible.
We provide electronic or physical receipts upon request. Donors should retain these receipts for their personal records. If you need a receipt for your donation, please contact us with the transaction details.
